The Happy Days Beer & Food Festival

Taking place on 4th and 5th  of May, at Tyrconnell Road D08 HF68 Inchicore Ireland, the Happy Days Beer & Food Festival features breweries, spirits, cocktails, food vendors, lively DJs, and an exciting atmosphere.

Taste of Dublin

With lots of activities lined up from 13 – 16 June 2024, foodies are sure to have a feast at the Taste of Dublin Festival occurring at the gorgeous Merrion Square. The activities include tastings, live cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, purchasing signature dishes, and essential ingredients.

Big Grill Festival

Big Grill BBQ and Food Festival will be held at Herbert Park in 2024 from August 22nd to 25th. This event provides guests with the opportunity to discover the top Irish and global chefs, eateries, and experience cooking over open flames.

Me Auld Flower (MAF 2024)

Although details of the 2024 edition of Me Auld Flower have not been disclosed, it promises to be a better experience than the previous one. This festival showcasing Irish food and beverages is organized by the creators of Big Grill and holds at Dublin City Fruit, Veg & Flower Market, St Michan’s St, Dublin 7.


Dance and Music Festivals in Dublin 2024

Fingal International Festival of Voices 

I think it is safe to imply “there is no Ireland without music”. This choral competition from 7 – 10 March 2024 is Ireland’s biggest and most exciting festival connecting Dublin with the four corners of the globe virtually.

Dublin Dance Festival

Asia’s top contemporary dance company portrays street life at this festival, featuring workshops, exhibitions, screenings, and more from mixed talents, across various Dublin sites in May 2024.

Forbidden Fruit Festival

The 12th edition of the Forbidde­n Fruit Festival takes place at the­ Irish Museum Of Modern Art which is at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin. This long-standing Dublin fe­stival runs from June 1st to 2nd.

Longitude Music Festival

This summer, the Longitude festival will have major performances from Doja Cat, 21 Savage, Becky Hill, and Ce­ntral Cee, at Marlay Park in Dublin on June 29-30, 2024.

Five Lamps Arts Festival

Between April 11th and 20th in 2024, The Five Lamps Arts Festival, holding at various locations across Dublin, will celebrate culture, history, and inclusivity with art, music, awareness, and other programs.

International Literature Festival Dublin (ILFD)

This event since the 90s caters to audiences of all age groups. It promotes the finest writers from across the world and is scheduled to commence from May 17th to 26th, 2024, at Merrion Square in Dublin. Additionally, attendance at the ILFD is free for all participants.

Bloomsday Festival

From the 11th to the 16th of June in Dublin, the Bloomsday Festival celebrates a character, Leopold Bloom from James Joyce’s book, Ulysses. The festival involves dressing in Edwardian fashion, public readings, and performances.

Textile Journey Festival  (August Craft Month 2024)

For creatives interested in making magic with either wool or textile, this festival offers the chance to learn weaving, knitting and embroidery. Taking place at Niki Collier – Designer & Visual Artist, Studio 24, The Courtyard, Dublin, Ireland from the 1st of August to the 4th of August  2024, the festival events include demonstrations by local textile artists in Ireland, workshops,  swapping of materials or tools and open studios.

Dublin Theatre Festival

To make an impact beyond their shows, the festival events are fused with public discussions and development programs in Dublin from the 26th of September to the 13th of October 2024.

Open House Dublin Festival of Architecture

This is a free architecture festival of the Irish Architecture Foundation beginning with an Open House Junior weekend with workshops, tours, and activities dedicated to the younger ones and families. It will be held on the 12th – 20th October 2024.

Bram Stoker Festival

Bram Stoker the writer of the popular tale, Dracula inspires this festival. The festival has a reputation for its dark and exciting events that occur in unusual places like forests or libraries associated with his literary works and set during Victorian times. The event starts from October 25 to October 28th, 2024 in various locations around Dublin, Ireland.

Dublin Book Festival 

Dear book lovers, you are not left out of the fun. This intimate event is one of Ireland’s most vibrant book and literary festivals celebrating writers, publishers, and innovators that you should not miss once in Dublin. The beautiful part is that this event is free with no age restrictions so far you are a lover of books and literature art.
