Seattle grunge veterans Pearl Jam have revealed they will stop in Dublin during their upcoming world tour. The band’s twelfth studio album, “Dark Matter,” is set to drop on April 19, and fans can catch them live at Marlay Park on June 22, 2024.

For three weeks, Eddie Vedder and his bandmates secluded themselves at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, working on their new musical project under the supervision of producer Andrew Watt.

Support Acts for Pearl Jam in Dublin

Richard Ashcroft, former frontman of ’90s icons The Verve and Irish post-punk band The Murder Capital, will be joining Pearl Jam as a special guest for their Marlay Park performance.

The quartet’s debut album “God’s Own Country” garnered rave reviews and critical acclaim upon its release in 2017. Ashcroft, with his soulful voice and poetic lyrics, is a fitting addition to the lineup for this iconic concert.

The tour begins in May, making stops across North America, Europe, and the UK before reaching Dublin on June 22, 2024. Dark Matter was recorded live at Shangri-La Studios and is described as a return to form for Pearl Jam, highlighting their signature grunge sound while incorporating new influences. Fans can expect a memorable night with classics such as “Jeremy,” “Alive,” and “Daughter,” along with fresh tracks from the new album.
